    Default would be ?

    Hello

I am trying to write a thank you letter to the Manager who interviewed me:

Thank you for taking the time to meet with you last Friday. I am glad I got the chance to meet with you and learn more about your company. Given my skills and experience, I believe I would be an asset and I can contribute signficantly to your company. It is my desire to work in your company. Thank you again for your time and consideration. I look forward to hearing from you.

Closing this thread, since it's a duplicate of this one: http://www.usingenglish.com/forum/cv...interview.html
I'm not a teacher, but I write for a living. Please don't ask me about 2nd conditionals, but I'm a safe bet for what reads well in (American) English.
