Probem in "To Be" Please suggest me the following.
Read the following sentences.
1) Situation is said to be critical.
2) These types of Nouns are said to be in Possessive Case
3) These trees are not to be found elsewhere.
Why to be used in these sentenses.

Teacher Re: Probem in "To Be" The first two are a way of expressing an opinion that isn't ours.
The third is an emphatic way of stressing that you can't find them no matter where you look.
