Could anyone help me find out whether the below sentence is grammatically acceptable?
If wrong, how should I rephrase it?
Thank YOU.
"Patients need care that encourages and helps them return to the society again as healthy human beings rather than care that isolates them from the society."
The use of "rather than" is fine, but remove the definite article before "society". We simply say "society" in this kind of context. I would also remove the word "again". You have said "return" which means to go back. If you say to "return again" that suggests that they have already returned to society before and now they are returning again.
