    Default so...that; how I didn't

    Dear teachers,

I have two questions to ask.

    No.1
Andy has so many rule he must go crazy just trying to remember them.

    I think it should be:
Andy has so many rule that he must go crazy just trying to remember them.

    No.2
You can imagine how I didn't really enjoy the special.

I know how used this way can be following by positive sentence. But can it be, used this way, followed by a negative sentence?

Looking forward to hearing from you.
    Thank you in advance.

    Jiang

It is fine to drop the 'that', especially in informal conversation.

Without further context, the idea of somebody having a lot of rules seems a little strange to me.

    Hi 5jj,

Thank you very much for your explanation. Now I see. Maybe all the grammatical rules I have learned are formal so that when I come across informal rules I get confused.
    It should be "rules".

    Dear teachers,

I have two questions to ask.
Then please ask the second one in a separate thread as they are unrelated, jiang.
