    1. I can’t quite remember his name but he’s universally known. Possible, though it sounds a little stilted to me
    2. I’ve seen the Queen on TV but never in live. ? ??????? 'in person' is more natural

    3. All she has to do is to snap her fingers and he comes running. Fine

Without the slightest doubt, 'in person' is more natural.

But, in AmE, "live" is more often used.

    1. I can’t quite remember his name but he’s universally known OK, common in reference to personalities, events, literature etc.
    2. I’ve seen the Queen on TV but never in live ???????? "Live" without "in" but better "in person"

    3. All she has to do is to snap her fingers and he comes running OK but often used without "to".
