I would like to know the meaning of "feel bad"
I wonder why the tortoise felt bad.
Once the hare was bragging about his speed and he made fun of the tortoise, who was slow.
The tortoise felt bad and challenged the hare for a race. The hare agreed for the race.
This looks like a misinterpretation, or a mistranslation, and it's not the only one: 'for a race' should be 'to a race'.
The original Aesop fable makes no mention of the tortoise's feelings.
We can surmise that the tortoise was offended at being made fun of.
