I have a sentence:
Considered an expert in the marketing industry by educational and business leaders. Is this ok? Primarily, I was wondering if it should be "education and business leaders" or educational and business leaders??![]()
I agree with you that "education" would be better. The people involved are leaders in the field of education. That does not make them educational! They may never teach anyone anything useful at all.
However, I don't think anyone reading the original sentence would worry too much about it or come to the wrong conclusion. Generally, we tend to read what we know something was meant to mean, not always what it actually says. I would venture to suggest that the majority of readers wouldn't even notice it.
