Who you're talking to doesn't matter. It's the time frame that makes the difference. Are you talking about mistakes that you may have already made, ones you might be making as you speak, or mistakes you might make in the future?

The latter choice:mistakes that might be made in the future.And I think that in this case the second one is correct.

The second one could indeed refer to the future making of mistakes. It is probably requesting the other person to make corrections.
