Can you please check this 3 sentences for me?

I have included these sentences into my essay, and I am not sure about whether they are 100% correct: I was wondering if I could get help with these sentences:


1. Oh the other hand, girls usually get urged to stay at home, where they will be sheltered and where they will later learn to assist their mother.


2. In the end, they either end up getting paid an equivalent of a few dollars per hour, or they don't get paid at all.


3. Mr. White chose contrast essay as a form of essay type.

Try to avoid using 'get' as an auxillary verb in formal work - it might be OK once you're more used to it. Perhaps you can see the difference if you had written "where they will get sheltered." - not as good in an essay.

2. In the end They either end up getting paid an equivalent of a few dollars per hour, or they don't get paid at all.
"In the end, they end up ..."? When else could it happen?

3. Mr. White chose contrast essay as a form of essay type.
