- He needs to rush back home as his mum is not feeling well.
- He needs to rush back home because his mum is not feeling well.
- He needs to rush back home for his mum is not feeling well.
a, Are the above sentences the same in meanings?
b. If not, what are the differences?
Thank you.

1 and 2 have little if any difference in meaning - more of register. 3 is, to my ear, rather archaic.

And you could also say He needs to rush back home since his mum is not feeling well.
There is more a difference of register than a difference in meaning. I would say 'I like spending time in the forum because meanings interest me'. I might write 'As I am interested in semantics, I enjoy frequenting the forum'. The meanings are near enough identical (the causality - interest => time spent - is the same , but the degree of formality is different.
