run What does "run" mean in the following?
Hi, Bill. How's the new assembly run doing, it it behaving itself today?
Does it just mean "assembly work"?

Teacher Re: run The "run" here is what a factory is producing for the day. It could be that the assembly "run" today is the new four door model of an automobile or outdoor lights.
