1) Two new teachers may be coming next month.
2) Two new teachers may come next month.
Which of these do you think sounds better?
Does the third have the same meaning of the first two?
3) Maybe two new teachers will come next month.
In these particular sentences there is not a significant difference between #1 and #2. The third suggests to me more doubt about the coming, but a lot depends on the overall context and, in speech, the intonation.
