I have a question regarding the title.
Could I use this term to describe a situation where a boss demanded his employees to take leave on certain dates without their consent?
I wonder if there's a specific term for this phenomenon?

Could be "mandatory leave/vacation/time off, for example.

In AmE there is no one particular phrase to describe this...."mandatory time off" or "mandatory leave", as Bill said, are just two of many ways corporations describe this particular situation. Since it is unpleasant/inconvenient to the workers, management often comes up with ever more palatable descriptions for forced leave.



(I worked for a very short time at a company that offered two weeks paid vacation every year.....except you had to take one week of that vacation between Christmas and New Year's Day, when the plant was closed. If you were inconsiderate enough to take your allotted vacation time when you wanted to, then you simply wouldn't be paid for those days after Christmas when the place was closed.)
