Sheila wishes... "Sheila has entered a competition to travel to France."
How to put this while using the word "wishes" : "Sheila wishes she'd won the competition to travel to China." Correct ?

Teacher Re: Sheila wishes... She doesn't know whether she's won or not, so the past perfect doesn't work there IMO. Where are these coming from? This and the last seem rather unnatural to me.
