    Default ...explain (about)...

The following are representative of the other four sufferings:
    1) separation from loved ones,
    2) being with those we hate,
    3) not getting what we desire and
    4) suffering arising from the five components.

The first three should be easy to understand. I might need to
    explain (about) the last one.

    Is 'about' needed?

    Thanks.

"About" is not needed. However, I think you're right that you might have to explain the last one!

    Thanks, Emsr2d2.

I might need to explain the last one.

you might have to explain the last one!

I notice that your sentence uses 'have to explain', while mine has 'need to explain'?

Does it mean that 'need' is the wrong word, which should be replaced by 'have to'?

Need is the right word for you to use, though you could use have.

Ems wrote have to emphasise that you certainly do need to explain it as she's no idea what it means (and neither have I).
