Dear all,
My dictionary(an English-Japanese one) says "marry" can be used as an
intransitive verb, but it's more common to say "I'm going to get married next month", rather than "I'm going to marry next month"?
If so, is it better to say, " My father got married late" than "My father married late"?
Thank you!

To me, it's a case where more commons doesn't mean better or more natural.
