The above sentence is what I have received in an email. Is there anything wrong with it? The word revert is ok?

Doesn't sound right to me. I've never seen "revert" used that way.
However, there was someone in the comments section of Merriam-Webster.com who stated that using "revert" as "reply" was common in Southeast Asia.
So is it correct if the sentence is "My colleague will verify the goods and reply with a quotation." ?
