    Default Sentence grammer

"My colleague will verify the goods and revert with a quotation."

The above sentence is what I have received in an email. Is there anything wrong with it? The word revert is ok?

    Thanks

Doesn't sound right to me. I've never seen "revert" used that way.

However, there was someone in the comments section of Merriam-Webster.com who stated that using "revert" as "reply" was common in Southeast Asia.

We have had a few posts from South Asian speakers using it.
