Assist receptionist with patient coordination
To assist receptionist with patient coordination; schedule follow-up visits and answer
calls/books appointments as necessary.
Above is one of the job duties of a profession I found on Google.
I was just wondering whether the usage of "receptionist", without using any articles or making it plural, is grammatically sound.
My guess is that strict rules can be bent when it comes to job descriptions. Am I wrong?
In normal situation, the word should either be preceded by "the" or be plural, to indicate the general sense of the word, right?
Thanks for your help.
Re: Assist receptionist with patient coordination
These are not complete sentences. They are fine in a a job advertisement.
