What is the plural form of the word 'breaking'? Is it 'breakings'?

Consider it (and crossing, in this case) to be uncountable nouns.

You may want to consider this a time when the passive makes sense: No bonds were broken, nor were any chains crossed. (Whatever that means). If you are bold, you can even write it in the active voice: to ensure we did not break any bonds nor cross any chains.

And of course, if there is no single bond breaking, there are no plural bond breakings [sic].

If you actually wanted bond breaking and chain crossing [note again uncountable], you could still write, " ... assures that there will be bond breaking and chain crossing."
