I can't remember the word

Hi everyone,
I came across with a phrasal verb but I can't remember what it was. I still remember the meaning though: " to get back to a comment one previously mentioned in a discussion and talk more about it". or any definition close to this.
I think the particle was "up".

Can anyone help please?

No, the particle was short like up or off. But thanks anyway.

Your 'getting back to' and waflob's 'going back (to) appear to me to be the most natural. If you are not going back too far, you can use 'Speaking/Talking of'. I can't think of anything with 'up'.
