a-That performance did terrible damage to me, had disasterous consequences for me (I was the producer, director, the performer, one of the perfomers etc. and it had disasterous consequences for me).
b-I believe that performance was very bad. According to me, that performance was very bad.
c-The sentence is ambiguous.

'According to me' is very commonly used by learners when they mean 'in my opinion'. 'According to' is most appropriately used in the sense of 'as stated or reported bysb/sth' (ALD):
According to my teacher, the subjunctive is rarely used in BrE, according to my grammar book, it is.
It's going to be a scorcher today, according to the weather report.
