The term "Doc" in correction to a english paper what would be the meaning so I can make the proper correction.

Well, of the proof reading abbreviations I know, I'm not familiar with "Doc", but that's not to say it doesn't exist.

Given its similarity to the word "document", I'd say, with almost certainty, that "Doc" means, Documentation: provide the source (i.e. the name of the author & article or book wherein you found the information you wrote down in your paper.)
