    Default whenever or when

    A) I will use this tool whenever possible.
    B) I will use this tool when possible.

For the above sentences, which is right?

The first is far more natural, in my opinion. The second suggests to me that the speaker feels there may not be many occasions on which it is possible, but this may be just personal.

As I was reading my own post, I have another question. Is 1 or 2 correct?

    1) For the above sentences, which is right?
    2) Which is right for the above sentences?

Change for to of and they are both right.

However, a more natural question would be

Which of the above sentences is right?

Please use correct capitalisation and punctuation, as I'm sure you teach your students to do.
