    Default Test lesson?

Dear teachers, I need your help with the collocation "test lesson". (It is on the list of active vocabulary items for our students to learn and use in their speech.) Our students have teaching practice at school (they give English lessons) and one of such lessons is a test lesson when a supervisor from the university comes to the school to attend the lesson of a trainee. My question is:
Is the word combination "a test lesson" all right for the given context? Is it understandable? If not, could you suggest some other vocabulary to describe this kind of lesson?

    Thank you in advance!

These are more natural to me than 'test lesson':

    Observed Lesson/Observed Teaching Practice/Observed TP.
