Are these sentences correct:
1-Take whatever one you want.
2-Take what one you want.
3-Take one, no matter what one.
I think one commonly uses "whichever one" and "no matter which one", but if the choice is unlimited or very vast, can one use the above sentences?
1-Take whatever one you want. Possible: 'Take whichever (one) you want' is more natural, in my opinion.
2-Take what one you want. No. 'Take any one/whichever (one) you want.'
3-Take one, no matter what one. No. 'no matter which.'
If there's a wide selection of different things, such as food at a buffet, we say 'Take what/whatever you want'.
If we're offering a single item from a wide choice - such as a plate of assorted cakes and pastries - we say 'Take whichever you want'.
