Future or Present Meanings?

I saw the following sentences in "Grammar in Use Intermediate 3rd CD-ROM" (American English, 2009):
1st: Where're you staying while you're in New York?
2nd: Jack's living in London while he's acting in a play there.
I don't know whether these two sentences have the future or present meanings.
Could anyone explain it to me? Thank you very much!

PS: Are there any mistakes in my paragraph?

From the sentences as they stand, we cannot tell for certain whether they have future or present reference. Context will make this clear.

Incidentally, we do not normally contract "where are" in writing.
