Teacher Re: which one is correct? N° 1 is incorrect for a few reasons.
N° 2 is better, but you don't need a comma.
I would say "I know the reason for this new hairstyle." It's simple, clear and direct.

Teacher Re: which one is correct? The commas are wrong, it's OK without them. I agree with John Paris, his sentence is much better.
