    Default Can you say?

    Hi,

"Why is the information about the incident so remotely?"

    Thanks

What are you trying to say? We can't say how to say it unless we understand the information you're trying to impart.

    What is the incident?
    What is the information?
What is "remote" about the information?

"Remotely" is an adverb so needs to be attached to a verb (or an adjective).

He is watching the surgical operation remotely (here it refers to "watching")
I am not remotely interested (here it refers to "interested").

I can't see any way of using "remotely" with your sentence at all. What do you think "remotely" means?

You could say "Why is the information so scarce?" or "Why is there so little information?"

"remote" means "far away" if we are talking about a physical location, it can also mean "unlikely".
