I am wondering if there is a specific, rather informal, term to call this:

I've always called it a water fountain.

Thanks, I'd think there'd be a shorter or more specific term for it, specially since you get this when you google 'water fountain'.

Most of us would simply call those 'fountains'

I would call the one you pictured a drinking fountain or, like SlickVic, a water fountain.
