Learning new vocabulary

Hello. nowadays we have so many ways to leran new vocabulary in English. what do you think is the best way to learn new vocabulary - through reading? watching movies? what would you recommend for beginners?

Different people learn better in different ways, so it's hard to generalise. The main thing is not to try to learn too may words at a time and to recycle words repeatedly- it's easy to forget them after a few days.
