This is a sentence from a student's composition:

'Every third person on our planet has those or other restrictions on health.'

I understand what the student wants to say, but I do not like 'those or other restrictions on health'.
I would say 'has that or another health-related problem'.

What is your opinion?

"those or other health (related) problems" would be OK too.

I would agree with you that the student's sentence sounds strange. I like the way your sentence is heading but what is missing for me is the setup prior to the response.

Not knowing the full context I might be swayed into saying "Every third person has some sort of restrictions on health..."

I address to you with the request you to send money for the creation of an art school for disabled children-invalids. At this school they can could get acquainted with the most different kinds of creativity. It will would give them stimulus for life and belief in the their own forces. The art school creation will would allow them to look at itself themselves on the other hand. in a different lightCreativity cures, especially if person is in such situation Creativity is a therapy for a disabled person.. Thank you very much!

I don't see how substituting "that" for 'those" makes any difference. As "Every third person..." is the beginning of the letter, where is the noun that "that" or "those" refers to?
