He can, although I feel that 'would' is more likely. At that moment, the trip is still hypothetical.
Context is always important; labelling is rarely important.
Bruce can say either; it depends upon what he wants.
If Bruce is not certain that we wants to go to Lanyu with Ivy, then he should say "that would be nice".
If Bruce wants to go Lanyu with Ivy, then he should respond with: Yes, that will be nice.
