Default Why can't I find 'make(made) from/of/with/by' in my 'Oxford phrasal verbs dictionary?

    Hello,

It may not be important but I was wondering the reason I could not find phrasal verbs such as 'make from/of/with' in the word entry 'make'.

Actually, there are references for 'make of: to have an impression or an understanding of sb/sth' and 'make with: to do sth or use sth'. But the meanings of these were different from what I expected to find.

I was looking for the meanings as in "This ring is made of gold", "This bread is made from whole wheat', etc..

I was terrified after finding out this since I believed I can learn '(almost) all phrasal verbs' with the phrasal verbs dictionary alone. If there are missing entries for basic words like those above, there is no way I can learn them in that way and the only way to learn them is to consult from a proper non-specialised big and heavy English dictionary. Searching on the web wouldn't be the solution because I want to learn all the related phrasal verbs by looking up for the core verb for them (e.g. make --> make from; make of; make by;...), not specifically typing a phrasal verb for which I want to find the meaning.

Is there any solution for this problem?

    Thank you.

"Make from", "make with" etcetera are not phrasal verbs.
