It needs "on" News Format
Good Morning,
Today is monday on 21st november 2011. .............
I have read this in a grammar book without on. In my knowledge "on" has to be used before date. Is it right or not?

on21st January. Speakers of BrE say this a Today is Monday (the) twenty-first of January".
