    Default put the probability at

I put the probability at 20% that the next bus will arrive in 5 minutes.

I put the probability of the next bus arriving in 5 minutes at 20%.

    Hi,

Could anyone help me verify these sentences?

Are they both acceptable, or is one of them or none of them acceptable?

Also, could you tell me if there are some other ways to talk about possibility or probability?

    Thanks.

Both are fine sentences but a bit formal. People do not normally speak this way.
Also, could you tell me if there are some other ways to talk about possibility or probability? Yes, there are many - "The next bus will probably get here in about five minutes."

If you feel that you have to give a percentage, then your sentences are good options.

    Thanks.
