I am not sure how to use word "being" in sentences
"You being harassed at work " - is this sentence correct? can not we say "you are being harassed at work?"
Yes, I have the same problem. The application of"Being" is a little confusing in some occasions.
"You are being harassed at work. " This is a correct progressive construction. It suggests that the harassment is taking place around the present time.
Your original words are possible only in such sentences as:
You/your being harassed at work concerns us all.
I am worried about you/your being harassed at work.
Context is always important; labelling is rarely important.
I learned a lot being workd with you.
is the above correct?
