correct this:He can't either read or write.
You have to use its negative form neither . . . nor, which stands for not either . . . not or. "not either" combines to form "neither" and "not or" combines to "nor", like this,
1. He can not (either) read => He can neither read
2. He can not (or) write => nor write
EX: He can neither read nor write.
