    Default someone who wows

I saw the exclamation 'wow' used as verb at English news paper.
the story was about a woman who suceed by herself.
I thought 'wow' is just excalmation. but in this news it is used as verb.
    what happened? is it conversion?
what it means 'wow' as verb?
