    Default other or others

"I need some more books. Do you have any other/others that you could lend me?"

I think it's "other" since it follows any but seeing the word books in plural form worry me. Is it other or others?

Any others is the natural form here.
Context is always important; labelling is rarely important.

Why is that? Isn't anything following "any" supposed to be in singular form?

I don't know where you got that idea from. 'Any' is frequently used with plural forms:

Are there any eggs in the fridge?
There aren't any (eggs) in the fridge, but there are some on the table
