destroyed delivery

Hello,

This is a letter composed by one of my students:

Dear Cherile,
Please accept our apologies for destroyed delivery. We've sent you another one container of Bongo Bars. You will receive it today.

I do not think 'destroyed delivery' is the right choice. The description of the task says that the chocolate bars were damaged, and thus can't be accepted by the company represented by Alex. I would say 'the failed delivery' or 'the unsatisfactory delivery'. Also I am not sure about 'container'. I think 'batch' would be better.

What is your opinion?
