Please accept our apologies for the damaged Bongo Bars which were shipped to you. We've sent another shipment to you and you should receive it today (note that I added "should" since I cannot guarantee whether or not the delivery company will perform as promised.).

I do not think 'destroyed delivery' is the right choice. The description of the task says that the chocolate bars were damaged, and thus can't be accepted by the company represented by Alex. I would say 'the failed delivery' or 'the unsatisfactory delivery'. Also I am not sure about 'container'. I think 'batch' would be better.
What is your opinion? You are focusing on the wrong thing. The delivery didn't fail. The chocolate was delivered but they were damaged. Also, whether you use "container", "batch", or, "box" is not important. Different industries have different terms for these things. One would have to know what term is used in this specific industry. Not knowing which term is currently used by this industry, I would opt for "shipment". You might also point our that destroyed is not the same as damaged. An automobile can be damaged and still operate while a destroyed automobile cannot operate.
Thank you for the time and help.
