Default an emolument or an honorarium?

If I were invited to chair a session of an academic conference, I would be paid a small sum of money. Is that an emolument or an honorarium? Which one is a better word? Thank you.

Honorarium is better, as the other implies a sarcastic view: greasing the palm, the wheels, a kickback, and so on.
