Default intensely cramed or intense cramp

    Hi All,

    Which one is correct

    1. In the morning I started feeling a little intensely cramped.
    2. In the morning I started feeling a little intense cramp

Answer is 2 but I feel 1 also right...Could any one explain me why intensely has been used and why past form of cramp is being used here..

    Thanks
    Gauri

Do you mean you felt very confined in the space you had, or you experienced a muscle pain?

You don't have "a little intense."

I felt intense cramping in my abdomen.

My tiny room was too much. I needed more space. I felt intensely cramped -- like I couldn't even stretch out my arms. I had to get out of there.

My small room felt smaller than usual. I felt a little cramped, so I went for a walk.

I'm not a teacher, but I write for a living. Please don't ask me about 2nd conditionals, but I'm a safe bet for what reads well in (American) English.

This sentence may work if altered a bit - In the morning I started feeling intensely cramped. This means that you felt as though there was not sufficient room - you were cramped.
    2. In the morning I started feeling a little intense cramp
In the morning I felt as though there was a small but sharp tightening of my muscles. This usage of "cramp" means that your muscles were tightening.
