    Question when do we use this grammatical construction?

    Dear teacher,

    what is the name of this grammatical construction and which words can be used for it?


    Because of his being injured, because of his being late.

    Nobody knows that? :( I have looked for it everywhere, but I can find explanation nowhere :(
    These two sentenced has been found in my books, in it there are Hungarian questions and English answers. Explanation zero. :(
