Question Biographical narrative or summary?

I've written a biographical narrative about Chalres Cornwallis and his role in the American Revolution. This narrative is part of a series of four articles that are to be in a newpaper we, the studnets, design ourselves. However, I think I only wrote a summary of his life. My teacher wants us to put the stuff we "need to know" first and the infornatin that's "nice to know" last. Can anyone please give an idea if the article needs to have only information or does it need any emotion or opinion?

Default Re: Biographical narrative or summary?

If it's a biographical summary, then opinion and emotion should be kept to a minimum; otherwise, it could appear too subjective, and not really do the task. However, it doesn't have to be completely dry and factual.
