Hi...

Can you please tell me if the word "borrowed" in either of the following sentences are correct?

1. When I borrowed you the money, it was understood that you'd pay me back in a week.

2. When I borrowed the money to you, it was understood that you'd pay me back in a week.

They are both incorrect.

The giver loans something.

The receiver borrows something.

When I loaned you the money...
When I loaned the money to you...
When you borrowed the money (from me)...
