    Default a piece, bunch.................

I am still confused at the usage of :

    a piece of banana
    a bunch of flower
    a flock of geese..........etc

What should I do to improve it, any online resources I should go for?
Can I name this kind of usage as unit of object?

These are collective nouns and they all mean group. There are probably hundreds of such terms relating to animals, from an army of ants to a zeal of zebras. Take a look at this site - Fun With Words: Collective Nouns

The ones relating to other things (besides animals) are terms you just have to learn as you along.

The list given in the site Gill provided a link to is fun, but some of these group nouns were made up for fun, and many of them are unknown to most native speakers - For example:shrewdness of apes, flange/congress of baboons,sleuth/sloth of bears.

You'll just have to note what people actually use.
Context is always important; labelling is rarely important.

Thank you for your kind reply. Then how shall I know whether it is a correct collective nouns or not as that link sounds only for fun and not updated.
