I´m well aware of the three types of conditionals and the zero conditional as well. But recently I´ve seen a will + will structure used, which I´ve never come across before.
I also know there´s a combination between the second and the third conditional.
I was wondering when this structure may be used, and if there are more combinations rather than the common ones.
Thanks a lot,

What was the sentence?
EX: I will if you will.
There are a great deal of sites on-line that describe mixed conditionals. Try searching under that term.![]()
I don´t remember the sentence, but I´ll search what you suggest.
Yes, there are many more condotional structures than the main 4. Your "will + will" is one of those others.Originally Posted by Magg

That type of sentence expresses an equivalence of commitment or promise, regarding an action.
A if + will + will construction would not be a mixed conditional.Originally Posted by Casiopea
