when some on says,[colossal post you occupy] what does this mean
The speaker could be talking to a person who has taken up residence on an extremely large piece of wood sticking out of the ground, but that is probably unlikely.
We need more context to know what the 'post' is.
Context is always important; labelling is rarely important.

My best guess is that this represents two (let's call them) thoughts.colossal post you occupy
"Colossal post" is someone agreeing with what you have written and describing your post as extraordinarily great.
"You occupy" probably refers to the American phenomenon of people gathering to "protest" Wall Street though they have no discernible message or suggested solution to today's economic woes.
The person who posted "you occupy" probably meant it as a compliment. Like saying "you rock!"
Soothing Dave thank you for helping me with the statement.[colossal post you occupy]i it was good to here that the person agreed with my statement.
TO all who replyed to my statement [colossal post you occupy] thanks for your help big t
