1.The island is ____attractive in spring and autumn, because of the pleasant weather in both seasons. A merely, B equally
The answer is B, but I think A would be possible, too ,which means only good in 2 seasons. am I right?

2.When shall we restart our business? Not until we____our plan.
THe answer is " are finishing", I am confused , I think it should be "will have finished"

    3. When I talked with my grandma on the phone, she sounded weak, but by the time we___up, her voice had been full of life.
THe answer is "hung", I think it should be "were hanging"or "would hang". Right?

'Merely' is highly unlikely. That word has a negative connotation, which does not go with the message of the subordinate clause.

Bot are incorrect. Possible answers are 'finish' and 'have finished'.

Wrong. Incidentally, 'had been' is not natural. It should be 'was' or 'had become'.

Context is always important; labelling is rarely important.
